ASTM Simulated Transportation Vibration Test Table For Product Durability Testing
Product information
The Simulated Transportation Vibration Test Table, also called a “vibration table”, is used to simulate the bumps and shocks encountered during vehicle transportation to evaluate the potential damage to a product. It determines whether a product can withstand environmental vibrations and is applicable to a wide range of industries including electronics, electromechanical, optoelectronic, automotive, and toys. This testing machine is an indispensable tool for improving product quality and reliability.
The Simulated Transportation Vibration Test Table is suitable for vibration testing of toys, electronics, furniture, gifts, ceramics, communication equipment, computers, and automotive parts, to observe the effects of transportation and assess product durability.
This machine is redesigned based on similar European and American equipment, utilizing a rotary vibration system that meets European and American transportation standards and complies with EN71, ANSI, UL, ASTM, and ISTA testing standards.
During testing, the machine performs a series of controllable vibration simulations to verify whether the product can withstand transportation or vibration stresses during its service life and to confirm that the design and function meet required standards.
Statistical data show that improving design levels by 3% can increase return rates by 20% and reduce unnecessary costs by 18%.
Testing purposes
1. Evaluate structural strength.
2. Detect loosening of assemblies.
3. Assess wear of protective materials.
4. Check for component damage.
5. Identify poor contact in electronic components.
6. Detect circuit shorts or unstable connections.
7. Check for deviation in standard values.
8. Screen out defective products in advance.
9. Identify resonance relationships among parts, structures, packaging, and transportation to improve design and reduce resonance issues.
The main purpose of the Simulated Transportation Vibration Test Table is to confirm product reliability, detect defects before shipment, and evaluate failure causes of defective products to achieve high-quality, high-reliability standards.
Features
1. Digital display of vibration speed, adjustable according to testing needs.
2. Synchronous silent belt drive for low noise operation.
3. Rail-type clamping mechanism for convenient and safe operation.
4. The machine base is made of heavy-duty channel steel with vibration-damping rubber pads, ensuring easy installation and stable operation (for long-term high-speed operation, anchor bolts are recommended).
5. AC variable frequency motor for smooth operation and strong load capacity.

Test Procedure
1. Place the test sample in its normal transport position on the vibration platform. To prevent the sample from jumping off the table and to maintain direction, secure it with ropes around the platform.
2. Adjust the vibration frequency so that the sample just begins to lift off the table surface—allowing a metal plate (1.5 mm thick, 50 mm wide, optional accessory) to slide freely between the sample and platform along the longest side of the sample.
